It was indeed a BSA and dated 1945

Pity, I arrived too late and it had just been sold

It is great that some had a good Tulsa show. We went and bought parts. Prices were too high for common Lees and I could not find any odd balls. A two hundred dollar Afgan Martini was interesting but I have some.

One No.4 Mk1(T) had the new repro No.32 scope. The owner noted it as such on his tag--but I doubt future owners/sellers will be as honest.

The oddest item was a Colt .38 Model 1892/1894 US Navy revolver with Britishicon proofs and lanyard ring. WWII Battle of Britain purchase but not worth $1000 especially when the seller didn't even know what it was!
