Marine Corp Musuem G.A Costner Curator

Mr. G.A Costner was the curator of the USMC Musuem in Quantico Va in the early 70s . Does anyone posess a list or serial numbers of rifles { for comparision} traded to Mr.Larry R.Smith A machine gun dealer now deceased on or about June 15th of 1970 . { Excluding 12 MC-1 sniper rifles} accounted for . A 1903 C stocked NMA1 has been found that is reported to have been included in the trade with the 12 MC-1s . The owner of the 03 states he received the rifle from LR Smith 35 years ago and Mr Smith then stated he received it as part payment along with 12 Garandicon snipers for MGs for the USMC Musuem . A line from a old Dirty Harry movie " I Got`s to know? "did he fire five shots or six ? . 12 rifles or 13 ? Lt1

Your math doesn't add up. L.R Smith, deceased 1970. Someone got a gun from him 35 years ago ?? Me thinks you are getting a story. Dirty Harry would not have asked..."was it 5 or 8 ??"
