feed problems with a non USGI magazine
Over the weekend I went to a m1 carbine and m1 garand shoot at my local gun club, of the 2 magazines I brought one was not a USGI magazine. It would not feed half the time. Needless to say I had a rough time trying to shoot. After I got home i relized what the problem was. The lip of the magazine curved in to much and the back looked to high. From now on I will use only USGI magazines. Here is a picture of 3 magazines the one in the middle is the bad magazine.

I always used GI 15 rounders for reliable feed. They're trouble free and still available in quantity. Others such as Pro Mag gave me nothing but trouble, I found you get what you pay for.

One way to greatly improve these Korean mags is to replace the springs. The Korean springs are terrible.

Yes, I don't have any of the 15 round Korean imports, but of several 30 rounders I've bought from CTD, they are equal in every way to my one and only SEY, except for the price which was cheaper than dirt.

I suppose that's true, but every Korean mag I have, including KCIs, have given me problems until I changed the springs. YMMV
