    Van orden sniper

Hi - I have a Van Orden Sniper in 30-06 that I validated with the Chandlers book in "DEATH FROM AFAR" The Chandler's also sent me a copy of the shipping record that is included. It has the original target sights and I also have acquired a USMC Sniper scope from the Marine Officer that started the first sniper school in Viet Nam. I will post pictures soon as my daughter knows how. thanks prf

    Very good! Awaiting photos...

A friend also has the sales records of Van Orden's various Winchester Mdl 70's. Plenty of regular old "hunting rifles" moved through Evaluators Ltd. as well, so the shipping/sales card often adds useful info.
