Graystone: thanks for the nice words. It was a pleasure having you out. I never get tired of talking "carbine''.
For others, I suspect the plunger had been put in wrong He has one really nice Inland. Its been made correct by someone, and nicely done, with all matching parts including a REAL flip sight and T1A band. We tested it with both US and Russian
ammo and then he shot a full mag at my 40 yard backyard range with no issues.

OUTSTANDING! Greystone45 invited us all to Ted's house for a carbine 'git' together in North Carolina!
What time do y'all want us to be there Ted? Better stock up on lots of carbine ammo and beer.
(Charlie Painter becomes a mean drunk if he runs out of ammo)

Can you imagine the size of that party? Tents and carbines everywhere!

MAN, you may have something there Jim! I was kinda worried about messing up Ted's restrooms with so many of us but we could set up a big base camp of military tents and just dig latrines in his yard.
Besides carbines, everyone could bring all their military gear, mortars, vehicles, etc. We'll have jeeps, deuce and halfs, half tracks, etc parked all over.
Heck this will make the first Carbine Show look like small time.
Charlie and Frank can set up a carbine stock clinic -
Maybe we can call the event Wood Stock II to keep the black plastic rifle guys out (Just thinking out loud)
Bill Hollinger has already volunteered to bring his banjo and provide some local entertainment -

I'l try to put together a blurb for the CMP
and few other forums this is coming together. Thanks again Ted!

Everyone wants a "Little" no one wants a "Smart" you can add the three letter word to finish.
Pretty funny Harlan.

Friends, I got 11 acres around the house, about 7 cleared (hope some of you can run a tractor with mower) and plenty of woods you can do your "business" in! Shovels avail, or bring your own if you have a preference. There is one outhouse, really, sitting out in edge of woods. Used to be a group of horseback riders that leased the land back in the 60's to do horsey stuff on and they built a his and hers. They'd have campouts and the woods is still full of beer bottles. All the horse manure is gone now , but I think this group is already in the process of replenishing it with loads of bullsh..! Admission fee is a box of ammo, two if you gonna camp overnite. Hotdogs a dollar. Lexington BBQ just down the road.
PS: Just got an email from Graystone and his flip sight with blue loktight held up while he finished up his box of ammo. His Inland is entirely too nice for him to be shooting so I'm gonna have to sell him one of my beaters! Seems only right. Shoot, I'd even trade him one and give him a $100 to boot.

I'm not worried about it being too nice to shoot, might as well enjoy it and blast away......clean it up every now and then.
Flip Sight held tightly with the loktight.
