Was watching "The Bridge at Remagen" the other night on Military Channel. Pretty decent war movie. Had a bunch of carbines in it. Funnily though, most (but not all) had adjustable sights and bayonet lugs, and a lot of them had 30 round mags. Even one that had adj. sights and 30 rounder was a nice high wood stock! I guess they just used what was available from the prop room. They stuck fairly close to the facts for a movie; I guess I can forgive a few technical inaccuracies - they had "Patton" tanks on both sides and no Shermans.... Guess you gotta use what you got.
