I got the non military M82 this week, it's in beautiful shape. Note the short forend...the seller told me that's how Cooey made them, after the war civilian production. I think I'll leave it that way, although...if Numrich wasn't sold out of those band sets I'd buy them for both rifles and it might still happen, who knows. I also received an NOS peep sight for the M82 Cadet, and it's now on there, so both rifles have peeps. The Mossberg has a swing over peep and is a very nice rifle with a 7 shot clip, it's literally in new condition.
On Joe Salter's website, there are several Cooey M82's, if I'm not mistaken some of them are not C/|\ stamped...they seem to be $275usd rifles.

These Cooey's are very nice rifles, I love the huge forestock...

I'm waiting for the Enfield Sht 22 in the mail...








BTW, I'm actively looking for the right deal on a good camera. Does anyone know why you have to load your pics to the internet first before posting them on here? I could wish you could upload directly and save that extra step.
