Is there any way to delete or hide the Stickies from the display? It's tedious to scroll through them every time.

It's standard as built into the software, but it's a good idea. Let me do some investigation and see if there's a way to have them be in a collapsible box. Except for the Help Threads, they don't appear on second and subsequent displays of forum threads ...
Thanks for the feedback ...

Sticky threads don't make any site slower ....
Try switching to different interface as a test and that should help you a lot ...
It's really simple to do and the instructions are here:
Site is slow for me ... How can I make it faster from my computer, or even us dial-up, cell phone, iPhone or Blackberry?

Doug

It can be the ISP -- when I use IE it is very fast, when I go through AOL it is very slow to load and change. The site itself is excellent!

Follow up ...
Hi Bob ...
We've hired a software developer who has looked at the issue and he's going to write us a modification, so people can view sticky threads within a collapsible box. It would work similar to other collapsible boxes that appear around the site. (see pic)
As with those, it will remember individual member's choices, so that open or closed state would remain in the last state selected.
It shouldn't take too long for this to be written and tested...
Regards,
Doug

Thanks for the upgrade, Badger! Members should also remember that they can browse the latest posts from ALL forums by clicking at the top right corner where it says You have xxx unread posts. The words "unread posts" are a link that searches for the new posts since your last visit. That form of search also bypasses the stickies.
