1942 Savage MkI Project

According to Ian's book, the last rifle was produced on June 22, 1944. Records indicate that Savage made approx. 1.2 million No4's; however, the highest s/n to date is 0C63110 (or rifle number 1,063,110). If the production number is correct, there would have to be rifles in the 1Cxxxxx range.

Very nice rifle! I have a 44' Savage so its not date stamped, I think its deffinatly added "cool" points to have the early date stamp.
