I hope you manage to get some pics posted. I have found several instances of non-German texts with the misspelling Sprewerke, but no trace in Germanof a Sprewerke. Furthemore, all German substantives start with a capital letter, so it would have to be Spre... not spre...
In this connection, may I plead with all those who present unnown markings for identification on these forums: if you cannot produce a photo, then reproduce the text or markings as accurately as you can on the keyboard. This means using capitals, spaces, points, commas and dashes as closely as you can to the original. "sprewerke" cannot be a German noun, so something has been misread, mistyped or abbreviated. Or it is not German (e.g. an imitation).
But these days, it really must be possible to beg, buy or borrow a digital camera and make a couple of good photos!
