Hi, everyone - new member, first post. Major interest is in M1
Carbines (have 4) but also a Garand and 03A3. Just wanting to learn more about these old gems and suggestions for possible parts acquisition, service work, etc. Have shot in a couple of CMP
matches and look forward to doing more in the future. Looks like a great site to share information!

Hello
Hello,
I have just started collecting C&R weapons, but have wanted to for a while now. I joined because of the knowledge that you kind folks have and for the fellowship of others that enjoy guns and weapons as much as i do. I just started restoring a 1918 ShtLE BSA co Enfield .303 I know that restoring can be a four letter word but that was the only choice I had with this particular rifle. It has been butchered
with several different parts from different smle models and a sporterized stock, along with the mess made by a previous owner trying to reblue the barrel/receiver. The only thing on it that i would consider original would be the barrel and receiver as they are matching numbers. Id like to restore this back as near as possible to its original glory and maybe add a few extras like a side mount scope. If any one has any advice or can help with origin/identification and finding parts it would be greatly appreciated. I plan to post pics of it soon.
Thanks

Hi there, I'm sure some of you have seen me around the net.
I'm a "Firearms Enthusiast" (AKA "Gun Nut")
And found my way here because I'm contemplating making a Semi BREN, and am looking for info.
Thanks for having me.
