He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose
There are no great men, only great challenges that ordinary men are forced by circumstances to meet.

' Father, may You watch over Your children whom serve and who have served this great country. May You comfort those who have lost and those who are lost. May You bring our men and women back to us safely when their tour is done. Father , we ask that You wrap Your arms around those whose time has passed and keep them safe , give them peace, and bring them into Your kingdom ,so that, we shall see them again when it is our time. Blessed be Your name.
The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in
green pastures;
He leads me beside the still
waters.
He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of
righteousness
For His name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through
the valley of the shadow
of death,
I will fear no evil;
For you are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they
comfort me.
You prepare a table before
me in the presence of my
enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy
shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house
of the Lord
Forever.
Amen.

I've stood on the sacred ground of Bunker Hill, Lexington, and Gettysburg. Sometime I hope to see Normandy.

A very dear friend of mine was able to go to Normandy about 2 years ago. He visited the museum and cemetery there. He said it was sobering and that he cried all the way through the afternoon. Our fallen soldiers, who died for our freedom...............................it's a
debt we can never repay. We owe them at least our gratitude and reverance on this most solemn day. God bless them and hold them in your warm and loving hand

I have visited many of the WWI and WWII sites in France and Belgium
as well as some of the Civil War sites like Gettysburg and they all have a very special feel to them. You can't help but be moved visiting these sacred grounds.
I pray that we may never have to create anymore.
