hey.. I could afford that .... put a repro mount and scope on and off to the range. Collect a proper scope at the 'right price' at a later time. I think I will have to keep my eyes out now. I am used to seeing them for ~$3000 +

I think it was cheap. Find a mount and scope even at today's prices and you still have a complete and reasonably priced T.
Why use a 50 pound bomb when a 500 pound bomb will do?

Is it the so-called Ishapore screw and/or what other markings?
