    Yes, I better be careful or one of those meddling moderators might get on to me and spoil my day.

    That convoluted mechanical system for the rifle just reminded me of some of the things I've seen around these here parts of the world.

    Sometimes design is hard to improve on, and our forefathers were mechanical geniuses in my opinion. Even though simple in appearance and function they put a lot of thought into them.
    When you take into account what people like Browning and Mauser did 100 years ago and the designs are still the basis for almost everything, it makes you wonder how far we've actually come in our computer driven age.
