carbine collector manifesto
19 gun Rack Pak Carbine Collection Here is what I feel is ultimate collectors pak at about price of a pick up truck. Quality and condition will set price as does in a pick up. Number one you need a orig 20 gun carbine rack, then you need the following makes Inland, winchester, Underwood, sag sg , saginaw s'g', IP, NPM, QHMC, IBM, Std Pro, Then add the following subs NPM-U, UN-Quality, Underwood B, T, S, and W. You now have 16 spaces filled. Then you want one 4 digit Inland, one 7xxxxxx gun(hopefully the fast one), or one rebuild with relocated serial gun, and then or a lineout , Bavarian and or Presentation gun to fill up most of the spaces of the rack. Then you need nice big gun safe to hide the rest in wife can't see nor then count. Always leave a blank spot in the rack you are looking to fill for that last carbine you need for your collection.. The reason for the hunt!!! This is a true carbine collectors manifesto.

You forgot to add the I.B.M. (AO) in the sub-contract list.
Now you need a bigger rack.

It's a world wide problem Marcus, the female mind ! They see it as pointless owning 20 or 30 guns all the same ! Whereas you and I would see it as owning 20 or 30 guns all different ! I don't know how to solve the problem, Seth might ! Cheers Bud. Mike.

I'm also a wooden canoe nut, and it is the same age-old question, to which there is only one answer.
Question: "um, Dave, how many (canoes/paddles/carbines) do you actually need?"
Answer: "oh, just one more.................."

Marcus,
Have you got something against Rock-Ola?
You left them out. My first carbine was a Rock-Ola.

My favorite reply when someone asks how many guns, carbines or anything else I consider none of their business is “More than I need, not as many as I want!”
I am fortunate that my wife likes carbines and is ok with other guns as well. We are both children of WW 2 vets.
