Collecting Carbines is like...
As I sit here listening to Hollies " On a Carousel", starting to get bored tonight I could not help but think that is just like collecting carbines, on a carousel.
And yes, I bid on another stupid carbine tonight.
My name is Roger and I can't be helped, only treated.
Any help out there?

The same thing? Is that bored or putting bids in on carbines?
Jokes aside. FYI, Roger is a long time collector. He is playing around.
You on the other hand are away from family and friends in service of your country. Having done three tours in Viet Nam I know the feelings.
Thank you for your service. Stay safe and come home to your loved ones.

I shoot them and wonder at those that obsess about Minutia...These are wonderful rifles that never seem to fail...I wonder about those that worry about a SN or date....I went to a recent gun show and met a fellow with a wonderful collection that had not fired a carbine in years,,,To me sad...Take them out there and BANG.....The people that used them to save their lives just worried about BANG...I bought 10,000 rounds at one time and realized this may be the best rifle ever made...Contemplating air after a while, just looks thru more air...
3 carbines and have not worn out the first......Smile Charlie

It is a situation made in heaven for obsessive compulsive people
6 million by 9 different companies, each part marked, each mark in several variations, upgrades, types to learn, revisions, parts swapping by companies. Intrigue, conflict.....oh man, died and went to heaven. Beany Babies on steroids. I agree with c east 100%
