I'm in Virginia USA, NO shortage of 7.62x39 ammo here. Most gun shows have the commercial “Tula” ammo for around $4.00 a box, cheaper for bulk purchases. It is more fun and almost as cheap playing with my SKS, than it is my 10/22.
