Screws are defined as headed, externally-threaded fasteners that do not meet the above definition of bolts.
So it should be a "king bolt" ... or not?

Well, I am 63 and as a kid, age 10-11 in 1958, I can tell you I drooled over the "Jungle Carbine" ads in Outdoor Life,
Field & Stream magazines. I can still visualize the add showing a guy with a Aussie hat and the cool looking carbine
with the flash hider.
Not that this made any impression on a 10 yr old or nothing but I do have 4 of them and a certain emotion about them.
I have seen one in Iraq and I saw one in the military museum in Peking.
Anyhow, if one can document earlier than 1958, they got me ~
