Enfield rear sight
I purchased a #3 MK1* which had the rear sight for windage adjust, but was pinned in place. I found all the right pieces except the washer that goes inside the adjusting nut that makes it click and stay in place. Can someone make a drawing or post a picture of one so I can get an idea of what it looks like.
Thanks,

No3 Mk1* or No1 Mk3* ?
Its a common error so the question is just to make sure we are talking about the correct rifle.
The No3 is a Pattern 1914 whilst the No1 is the 'SMLE'
Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...

I have one of these pinned sights in my collection, my suggestion would be to leave it as it is and purchase a windage adjustable sight to replace it, that way you will have the original sight to replace, to please the purists out there.

If you are asking about a No1 Mk3 windage rear sight spring, there is a guy selling a repair kit for the sight on eBay. The listing has a picture of the spring.

Thanks for the info. Yes it is No.1 mk3*, and I decided to go with the EBAY kit. After all I only paid $110 for the gun.
