Uss west point
I posted this cartouche before but never the other side showing the ships name stamped into the butt. I got this about five years ago, at first I thought maybe someone stamped this ship's name, but I think if you were going to fake a ship's stamp, you would use a well known name !Attachment 24806Attachment 24807

The USS WEST POINT was the ocean liner SS America launched in 1940. This was the largest capacity troop ship in the US Navy during 56 months of active duty. There is quite alot of history concerning the USS West Point.
