On the other hand, I seriously doubt that many of the parts that came with my mixmaster Carbine were the same parts that were on the rifle when it left the factory. If I want to replace an IBM firing pin, an Inland trigger and a National Postal Meter Hammer with the correct Winchester parts for that particular rifle, am I guilty of destroying history? I am not trying to defend our friend from the gunbroker ad--but as someone new to collecting carbines I'm just trying to get a feel for what is proper and what is "over the line".....JKL
This seller is known to use fake, after market, recently produced parts; flip sights, barrel bands, fake stocks, and fake acceptance stamps with no disclosure of any kind. His descriptions are misleading. He preys on the newbies, unsuspecting, and unknowing. This is clearly "over the line."
