    Not only it looks like the old M1917 but actually a lot of Kellys was made converting WWI surplus. Mine for instance is a WWI shell ZJ213 steel batch Note the hex nut tipical of converted M17s and the comfort pad covering adjusting strap. Colour is USMC forest green.
