    Part ID Help!!

    Hello Everyone,

I was just wondering if someone can help me ID this part that I am sure came off my No 1 MK 3. I took it all apart and cleaned off the cosmo, function check came out good. But I dont like a part missing from my rifle. Can someone help, I looked at every schematic I could find and can't seem to find it on any of them.

    Thanks,

It is Indian. Goes under the nose cap with the tab to the rear.

It is a tab that the Indians used to help stop the wire coils slipping forward off the stock of a grenade-launcher SMLE. The late Indian nosecaps have no piling swivel boss, and use this tab instead.
