Hi, I'm new here. Having recently purchased an M1
Garand (finally) I've found this site helpful in many ways. A former Marine, I've alway had a love and respect for the battle rifles and look forward to learning from others along the way. Thanks

New Member Intro
I found this site searching for information on old military rifles. I had no idea what some of the ones I had actually were and this site answered almost all my questions! I've been interested in guns all my life and love to go shooting anytime I can though here in Texas it has been horribly hot which keeps the shooting to morning hours where I have to deal with the sun directly in our eyes... but still anytime at the range is a good time! I got my FFL in 1993 but had to give it up when I began work as an nuclear independent contractor in 2003. Being the lone ranger with his gun interests in this house, I just couldn't keep the license any longer. I have all my reference material, retained my gunsmithing tools, and am beginning to get back into full swing with it again. We'll see where it goes this time!
I like to keep things original and am looking for a variety of things that are missing from my collection: slings, stripper clips, magazines etc. I have a few oddities that I hope the members of this site can help me with too.
And yes, I would certainly make any sales available to site members before taking it public!
I had started a newsletter when I was running MOAA Sports Club and found that chatting and emailing gun stuff was a favorite pass time.
Lets talk some guns here!

Lee Enfield No 4 MK II
Greetings
I recently acquired a Lee Enfield No 4 MK II made in Fazackerley, Liverpool in 1955. The rifle was in pristine unused condition. All of the serial numbers matched including the bayonet and the beech wood is entirely unmarked. I have since put 20 rounds through it at the range and have been amazed at its formidable accuracy, (nothing to do with me.) I paid $250 for it, is that good or bad? Unfortunately, I am now hooked!!

Hello to all Forum members. At last I have found the time in my life to pursue what has been a passion of mine for many years. Lee Enfields. I've just recently acquired a 1914 BSA SthLE Mk.111. What I know is going to be only the first of many Enfields to come. In my search for information on Enfields I discovered this Forum. So I thought I better introduce myself. I'm a Shooting, Deer Hunting, Motorcycle riding middle aged Aussie bloke. I'm blown away by the amount of information on this site, and i can see that I'll be spending a lot of time here. Regards to all.
mungo.
