    Well, yes I do.

Here is an Australianicon cord bound rifle, note no reenforcing bolt to the stock. Its a matched 1921 assembled Lithgow Mk III*. It looks OK to me and has been this way for a long time.

The second rifle is a much later clamped 1949 Ishapore Mk III* as a nice contrast. Both were obtained at the same time not to long ago.

I'm still to see a nice wire bound SMLE to round out the set.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. I have two cord wrapped as well and a wire wrapped No. 4 as well as a smattering of various line throwers. Other than the ones I bought, I have never seen any cord wrapped rifles in the "wild."
