A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Hello Everyone

I've been collecting firearms for many years. I have many of the standard items; Enfields most models, Mauser,s from 1871's to Ker 98, Nagants etc., but working or expanding and completing. Things like cleaning rod for an Arasaka, bayonet for Lee SMLE, little things like that. I live 2 miles from a range and have one set up in my back yard so I shoot a lot of rounds in a year. Even with inexpensive mil surp ammunition it gets expensive after a while so about 15 years ago I started rolling my own, then casting lead and now have even started swaging some calibers of bullets. Seems the more one gets into this hobby the deeper it pulls. I have acumulated a little knowledge over the years which I'm always willing to share but am by no means an expert in the field. I look farward to getting to know all of you.

    New guy

Hello All, thanks for letting me join, I am looking forward to the things that I can learn from the many experienced collectors here. I would say that I am more a shooter than a collector and just enjoy experiencing older guns in general.

Hello all, I am new to the forums.

Mainly I am looking for a ex-mill rifle to play around with on the range, but also I am looking for a forum to discuss such things with more local members
