My 1917 vintage DWM P'08 Luger worked perfactly with any and all ammo, including IMI "UZI" carbine ammo and hollow point stuff, EXCEPT for sub-100 gr projectiles. Too short OAL length, I think. But it was the Schmiesser mag that was the secret. Regular mags were much more picky. Hotter ammo did work much more reliably than commercial US fodder with the regular mags, hence the UZI ammo. (Probably over 1000rds of the black and brown tipped UZI stuff through this pistol!) Swapped it off some time back (5-6 years?) and the new owner just won't let it go. (I kept the Schmiesser mag, but he still likes it.)

So, maybe the new Mecgar mag will eliminate the FTFs.
