$1000 with that sling included would be a very fair price. Especially if the bore looks as nice as the outside.

About 30 years ago, I paid a premium price for a 1950 dated No7. It was pointed out to me, here I think, that the rifle was a fake. It was. But it had a nice story behind it. The rifle had been put together by the techs in a REME unit as a retirement present for the fellow I purchased it from. It had been put together from stores parts and an un numbered receiver. The serial number stamped into it turned out to be the initials of his best friend and the retirees enlistment number. It came with complete kit, includeing a sniper cheek rest and 1917 leather sling.

That's the story anyway.

Your rifle in the pics has a proper serial number range by the way and is almost pristine. It should command a premium price.
