The Reising M 50 was a fine submachine gun though almost 7 pounds. The folding stock M 55 was a bit lighter at a tad over 6 pounds. Marines and paratroopers liked it. Was pretty accurate being fired from a closed bolt. One problem was it didn't like to get dirty. American Rifleman did a piece on it a while back. Should show up in reruns.
