Thanks,I would have thought a number was allocated to a particular inspector so he could be held accountable ?
I pressume he would have kept this number all the time he was an inspector ?
Of course if the number was passed on straight away after retirement,promotion etc it would make tracing allot more difficult.

Just curious if anyone had compiled anything from records.
