M1917 cracked stock

for less money then a boyds POS, i could repair refinish that stock, and it would never crack again. at least not were i repaired it.

Boyd's is having problems with the M1917 wood. Pass on it. Have Chuck fix it.

Ive heard the same thing. I think alot of people are about to learn this lesson since the CMP just sold several hundred M1917 rifles. Used stocks are tough to find...repair might be the best option.
