And as long as I use the Photobucket link provided beneath the reply field I have no issue posting pictures.

When you hit "quote" or "add reply," you are taken to the edit screen. Right above the edit window there is a line of icons. Look for this image. Clicking it will bring up a box that allows you to enter the URL of the pic. Hit "OKAY" to insert it into the message.
