Hello all,
I am a current, active duty Explosive Ordnance Disposal Tech. Have been interested in collecting older military rifles for a while now. I kind of pressed myself into it trying to restore a 1904 Lee Enfield No. 1 Mk 1*** made by the London Small Arms Co. Of course lots of problems encountered there...
I also own a Norinco Mac 90, many bolt action American bolt action hunting rifles in more than ten calibers and reload for almost all of them. I have recently acquired a fifty caliber flintlock muzzleloader that I am quickly learning about. I do mountain man rendesvous and a bit of cowboy single action shooting as well. Looking foward to adding to and getting a lot from this forum.

Hello All,
I retired last year to Canada
and am picking up my old passion again - long range precision rifle. Starting out again with a Sako TRG22 but have an interest in Lee Enfields - shot those for several years back in the 60s - beautiful rifles - might keep an eye out for some good quality units.

Hi all:
'First post. I retired from teaching 8th grade History in 2010. That summer, my brother GAVE me his excellent M1
Garand (his rationale was that he is profoundly left handed.) It got me back into shooting, after a 40 year hiatus. picked up an M91/30 and am slobbering over the prospect of SMLEs, Mausers, et al.
I look forward to further posting, questions, etc.
Regards,
Dexter

Hello to everyone. I've been shooting since age 11. My dads deer rifle was a Mark 4 303. I loved that gun. The cock on closeing was the coolest thing. I now shoot everything from 17 Cal. pellet rife to my 577 Sinder on a long lever 1887 Enfield. My first deer rifle was a Navy Arms 58 cal. musket. I then bought a 1917 p14 that was converted to 30/06 ( Brain Freeze I can't remember it's name) . The barrel was .311 and I get about 16" groups at 100 yrds. Thats when I started to reload. A .311 neck expander In a set of Herters convertable dies and .311 bullets from speer brought my groups down to 4" at 100 yrds. I rebarreled the gun with a two groove barrel switched to 165gr spbt from sierra H205 and my groups shunked to 1 3/4". Not bad for a rifle I bought for 40$ in small parts in a box. I'm now playing with a 90/31 Mosien Nagant made in 1932, Hex reciver, Rebuilt in 1948. I call myself Army Mars because I've been in the Mars program for 20 years. (AAV5QK) 73 to all.
