Nice rifle. 1943 wasn't a year known for fit and finish. The Russians had other things on their minds, like turning out rifles as fast as possible to defend themselves against the Germans.
The Germans were the same way at the end of the war. Some of their products look even worse than these!
Anyway, looks like a nice representative refurb example. You can tell its refurb status by the stamp on the buttstock that looks like a box with a diagonal line through it. Should be a really good shooter!
