Hello all !
I just joined so hello to all. I signed up to see about some questions I have on a Smith Corona 03a3 the sn# 4809xxx the receiver was made in 1944 but what month? Sorry I looked of two days and cannot find this info for the SC. The barrel is dated 8-44 but no SC mark just flaming bomb and date. The barrel is 4 groove and looks new as not been fired it is parkerized.[ I say not been fired as I just built a 700 with a shilen barrel new the stock is a scant, there is no proof marks on the weapon some on the stock but not on the sights, bolt, floor plate, trigger exc. is this all after market or reproduction parts I will post pics. Later and thank you all for reading this post.
And sorry if I did not put this in the right place.
Hey if you all watch family guy its peanut butter jelly time!

Hello Everyone,
I recently aquired a 1945 Mosin Nagant M44. I was doing some research and came across this interesting community.

Hello - I am a new member. I have been a shooter since I was about 12 yrs old. A reloader for 49 yrs. I shoot Cowboy Action -3 gun events. I recently started shoot small bore silhouette. At this time I am refurbishing a Smith-Corona 03-A3. It will be period correct , except for two holes ( done by the prior owner) drilled and taped for a Redding peep sight.

Hello everyone. I have been collecting a modest amount of surplus over the past 40 years. I know some things about stuff but am not an expert by no means.
I look forward to reading up and learning from you guys.

Hello to All,
I was recently the High Bidder at a local Auction for a 1944 Longbranch Enfield No.4 MK1* and wanted to find more information. I wound up here via Google, and have been amazed by everything I have found so far!

Hi im a new meb and also need a lil bit of help
I've bought this old S&W spur trigger gun. I want to use it very little and use the weakest type of bullet possible so i don't put pressure on it. The gun in question is my profile picture still strugglin to upload. Attachment 28012Attachment 28012
Above is an attempt to attach maybe that'd work. So please tell me what type bullets i can use.
Also if you can the make and the rough date it'd been produced.
Cheers
Oscar
