Frank,
Twins meaning Kobra Carry and Special Forces Carry, they are 4 1/4" Commander size. The above are all 5" Government size. Ordered in July and was told by Cgristmas. But with the push on 1911's in this Centennial year they are backed up. Who knows when?

Hey Jim,
I remember when your wife had mentioned you were due for a new pistol.
Also remember you wasted no time and drove straight to the shop to order it.
Wasn't that the same day you were on your way home from visiting The Naval Amphibious Base (NAB), Coronado and took a ride on a new amphibious? I can't recall the type of craft, just how impressed you were with it compared to what you used during your 3X in Vietnam.
Love getting a look at your new Brown.
Thanks for sharing the picture....... Your service is greatly appreciated and you deserve it my friend.
Cheers,

Charlie,
You may have been away from the forum for 10 months but your memory is sharp as a tack. Really glad to have you back.
That is the pistol I ordered when she said I was due. I love that woman, guess so February is 46 years together.
This is my unit's new boat, minus any armament. It can carry a complete Seal Team in the bow area under the canopy. Crusing speed 41 knots. They gave just the two of us a 2 1/2 hour ride around San Diego harbor. Being an ex Enginemen I prepped and started her, and they also let me play Coxswain for a half hour or so. She's really easy to maneuver. It was a fun day having the salt back in my face again.
I hope your daughter gets a good duty station while in.
Jim
