As we say down here, Hey everyone. I've been a member over at CSP icon

for years and I'm happy to be here now...how did I miss this site in the first place? I am of British icon

heritage on both sides of my family so I have a soft spot for Enfields...

Actually, my user name should read, Critch-SwampEast, MO, but I'll have a moderator fix it later or just shorten it to Critch, which is the first syllable of my last name.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Glad to be here, just trying to get started. I'll be looking around to see what is available.
I post as thorin6 on all the boards I'm registered to. Thorin is our cat, and the number Six refers to the old way of designating the commander (i.e., B6 was the Bravo Company Commander). Basically I'm the commander of the cats (i.e., more than one), although anyone who has ever owned a cat knows that herding cats is not a job for the faint of heart.
Also, I used to jump out of airplanes, and there is no such thing as a "perfectly good airplane."

Just came over from Jouster icon

site that is now being hosted here. I collect military rifles from 1865 to the end of WW2. I have 36 rifles and carbines from that era. I'm now starting to collection the accessories for that time period.
I am 74 years old and still learning and hope to learn more from your site.

Hello everyone,
I just registered from the old Culver icon

's site where I was known as Dave Nivison. While I was sometimes controversial I look forward to this site being as enjoyable. I'm a retiree currently Wintering in AZ but from that despicable state of NY. I enjoy competitive handgunning, my M-1, reloading, anything outdoors, and amateur radio. I am a Destroyer veteran.
