Hi Steve,
according to a Swiss
engineer the GP11 bullet has a BC between 0.505 to 0.514 depending on the bullet they used ( there are 10 differend bullets but mainly 2 normal bullets were in use).

Hi, Ulrich. Glad to hear from you.
Thanks for the information. I tried to pull a GP11 bullet from a loaded round and could not get it to budge. I think the bullets are crimped pretty tightly. I might try again and see how it compares to the Barnes.
Many people who reload the 7.5 x 55 have discovered that the cartridge overall length figures in most reloading manuals are too long. I'll load some of these to book length and see how they work.

Intersting design, going to have to try some. A quick search of the net finds folks on all the prominant match/long range/sniper sites asking the same question. They have just been fielded and precious little data available including from the maker.

Steve, i´m always glad to help. Yes they are really tight crimped. I´ve lused my cases with a length of 55.2mm and they worked always great.
Hope you´re doing fine Steve!
Regards Ulrich

This is of primary interest to Swiss
7.5 x 55 shooters.
I pulled a GP11 bullet and photographed the three 175 grain match bullets next to the Swiss GP11 bullet. The Barnes MB 175 gr appears to more closely match the Swiss GP11 bullet on the right.

Sierra MK, Nosler CC, Barnes MB, and GP11
