Yugo m48
Anyone have trouble feeding round nose cartriges out of the yugo m48?
How do you fix this problem, or is there spitzer type hunting ammo that is reasonably priced?

Are you trying to feed from the mag or by closing the bolt on one already in the chamber? Additionally, what sort of problems are you having? If you're feeding from the mag, where does the cartridge stick. Give us a little more detail and we'll see what we can do to help! Cheers

Prizi Partisan ammo is very good and will run well for you. Remember, you must feed a Mauser through the magazine. No single loading possible, except via the magazine.

When i have more than one round in the mag, nothing in the chamber, and start to push the first round up the ramp and into the chamber (remington 170 core lokt), the bullet catches on the right side of the ramp and refuses to slide into the chamber. If i push harder, it bends the cartridge and smashes the bullet. When i use surplus fmj bullets, it feeds smoothly with no problem.

Hmmmm.... is it the bullet nose or the case neck that is catching? Additionally, I second the Prvi Partizan ammunition recommendation- I really like their loads and given the chance will choose them over pretty much anything else! They are priced well too.

bullet nose catches on the ramp. are the prvis shaped more like a spitzer?

Well Partizan ammo comes either FMJ or SP and the soft point is just like a standard core-lok or something. It is not strictly a round nose projectile but looks more like an FMJ with an exposed lead tip.
