Don´t know if you will find a US made phone, it is like the Made in Germanyicon Mercedes which has more parts from made in China in it than my Made in China razor from Phillips. I´m using a Panasonic phone witch has one main station with answering machine and two external stations. The phones are working at a maximum distance of 300yards from the station. I think that this is also a fact for you to have a phone with a good transmission power.
