The problem over there was nothing ever remained waterproof for more than a few milliseconds once you'd taken it away from its desiccated packaging or environment. How good were the Bushnells of the era?

I only ever saw one type of sniper rifle there but never got to touch it. It was an M14icon variant and it was in the hands of an ex pom from Support Company called Cpl 'Taffy' (he came from Wales.....) Bond. Did these M-14's ever follow the battalions back from SVN?
