Tony has been talking about the military for over a year now. I want him to go to college first but it's up to him and I'll support whatever he decides. (Bet they'll at least teach him to pick his dirty clothes up from the floor!)

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Manufacturer of various vintage rifle scopes for the 1903 such as our M73G4 (reproduction of the Weaver 330C) and Malcolm 8X Gen II (Unertl reproduction). Several of our scopes are used in the CMP Vintage Sniper competition on top of 1903 rifles. Brian Dick ... (I bet they do!)

We were surprised at his size and very happy. His mom is five foot nothing. He was a sweet little runt when he was a kid, but he was scappy. I think he's ready for about anything, or at least has a background. He was the youngest black belt his school had, and he can out shoot me hands down. I got him shooting when he was seven and he was shooting my garand and 1903's by the time he was 10. He loved shooting them and I had to drag him away. Mom got ticked at me one time when she saw the bruises on his shoulder, but he didn't want to stop. I think he'd qualify well on the rifle range like Bill's son did. He was brought up around aircraft and got to fly my friends planes when he was very little. He said he wants to do something that has to do with aircraft. If they teach him to pick up after himself he'll be well rounded!

Just did a search for 'Tony' on my computer and found these - Always been proud dad because he seemed to do everything I liked to do, and did it better than I did when I was younger. (He made 'A-team' and I barely got to play). I was just concerned because when he was about 7 our family doctor had him in the lower percentile for size and said he'd be small when he grew up. (He got that wrong!)

I hope you guys will console me when he's gone to the service! I'm pretty sure he has his mind set and he's already talked to some recruiters. Sorry for the photos - got kind of melancholy just looking back - It went by SO fast.
