Yes, that is standard practice for many regional/national competitions around these parts. Usually trigger weights and sights are checked for conformity with the "as issued" configuration. "Stick up" some photos of the stickers! Then we can see what the competitions were.

I just checked with Fed EX and they should arrive at my FFL next Tuesday. I'll bring a camera and take some photos before they start their "10 day cooling off period"

Got a chance to look over this rifle and grab a picture of the sticker before it went into my FFL's safe for a 10 day waiting period. The rifle looks great and has a great bore.
Here is a picture of the competition sticker on the handguard. Anyone know which match this was?

I've got a very K31 with a beech stock{unblemished} that had a "Shutzenfest" sticker on the top wood.
Obviosly a match rifle, even the trigger is far better than my other one with a walnut stock and a few dings.
Although it does have a replacment bolt, the serial number is electro penciled.
