Sorry Jim, I did read the first post but forgot he had indicated it was a SA. After re-reading all the posts, I also see he was referring to his 1944 rifle when asking about a place to get a correct stock. Well he can use the site I indicated if he needs a late SA stock, although nice ones seems hard to come by. As you said, Ebay is about his only choice or maybe an ad in the GCA Journal for a WW2 stock. Joe

I am trying to identify the correct bayo model for my SA M1 Garand of 1944 (WWII D-Day).
I am looking for a good original stock for my SA M1 Garand of 1954 (Korea), so a post war and not a WWII stock.

Here are the bayos I bought.



At the bottom a M7 in its M8A1 scabbard for M16/AR15 rifle.
I should also get a M6 for M14 rifle.
