    Sometimes.

I could have the number run and find out, but to what end. I bought my first motorcycle in 1964. Ten years after I sold it while in the service I went looking for it. It had been trashed. Very disheartening to see what happened to it. I guess we all have sellers remorse. Memories are a funny thing.

Jim thats a beauty!!!! 4 headlights and an actual trunk. A baby boomer special complete with Rochester fuel injection unit, you could get a lot of M1s for that,,, Love the license plate! If you have any paperwork with the original VIN number sometimes there are ways to find out if its still survives.

Jim, you are right "to what end", sometimes you are better off not knowing. My first car was a '73 Cuda, thats about the only one I ever wonder about, lots of fond memories in that car, old girlfriends, buddies who are no longer with us, that "first" car special feeling , well you get the drift. Or maybe my old 70 triumph Daytona,, nah,,,,,
