Kit inspection...my personal favorite! I always thought the SK army troops looked like kids playing army in Dad's gear. It was always massive on them. The M1
must have been a handful for some of them. Let alone the BAR!

Must be my sinus cold and blurry eyes, but I'm hard pressed to find any British
troops in that
contingent. They all look like KATUSA's to me, Koren Augmentation To United States Army. The KATUSA program was started in July 1950 and the photo date is September, 1950, so the timing is correct. This may be one of the first groups in training or close to the start.

John is this better- there is a lot of photos in the series only picked the ones with M1
's

Yeah, there you go. My eyeballs are clear enough to ID those blokes with the Tam-O-Shanter covers.
