    1942 dated, REL No8 can number C 9, notice the hand-stamped "Broad Arrow" with the typical Canadianicon short arm (glaring loss of paint).

    Originally issued to a 50L block rifle, reissued to a brit rifle, and paint marked on the outside to it.

    Original issue markings on inside of tin are covered by the (later) Britishicon useage instructions.

    Of course the pic had to be cluttered up with other junque....
