No4 Mk1 at auction Saturday March 10th 2012
I have what what I am fairly certain is an Enfield No4 Mk1 up for auction this Saturday. I am selling it for an estate and the wife does not know any information about the gun. I have pictures of it on my website at Fox Auction Company and would appreciate any guidance if I am incorrect about my description! We had to get this listed relatively fast and I described it as best I could from the research done on the internet! Can anyone tell me an approximate value based on the pictures?
Thanks for any help!

If it's that cut down thing with the old scope, you've got about $2000 worth of scope and bracket there... perhaps that is not the best place to sell it though... with the rifle I think still about $2000 or $2300, it would be an easy restoration to a very desirable rifle. So might be more or less, but I think that's your ballpark. Good luck!

Much better Tbone thanks, my security program didn't like it.
Nice all the same, worth watching.

That look like a BSA No.4T made in 1943 with a mismatched scope. Hopefully only the woodwork has been cut about. In which case it is easily restorable.
Even in it current condition, it is a desirable rifle and scope.

Wrong place to auction that rifle. Put on Gunbroker. Should bring over $2k.
