It always amazes me though how Hollywood always shows huge sparks everyplace bullets impact.

Hollywood also seems allergic to Tennessee - they rescripted it into Texas. The movie is An American Story and here it is at IMDB.

I am not allergic to Tennessee. But I do have a serious allergy to lead. So I try not to go to Memphis.
