    Hello from Hampton Roads VA

Long time "Lurker" on the CSPicon forum. You guys have been very helpful in helping me to flatten out my very steep learning curve re the M1icon's - Garands and Carbines - especially the Win's! My inventory now has 5 Garands - 2 SA's and 3 Win''s including a WIN-13 and 3 Win carbines. Keep the posts coming - there's a lot I don't know!

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Hi, all. My name is Brian (Davis), I'm a recent refugee from Joustericon/CSP.

Many thanks to Milsurps for giving the Major & the Missus a new home & a place for us all to gather. I look forward to seeing the old Jouster hands & also meeting a bunch of new folks from Milsurps.

Married (35 years), no kids, 4 cats. I enjoy the shooting sports & am a licensed amateur radio operator (KG9DU) (charter member of Jouster Signal Corps). Home QTH is Indianapolis, IN.

Everyone I've run into thus far has made me feel quite welcome & for that I thank you all.

Y'all have a most wonderful day. All the best to everyone.

    bhd

    Over from CSP...

Long time participant on CSPicon, occasional posting. Been shooting since pappy gave me a Mossberg single shot .22 bolt rifle in 1959. Also collect military knives and bayonets. Hope to see the Major's legacy carried on here. Thanks to the new hosts. (had to try out the banana!)

Hi Everyone! Glad to be here. I collect WW1 and WW2 weapons. I have a complete collection of Allied and Axis main battle rifles from both wars. All have proper bayonets, slings, cleaning kits, helmets and ammo pouches.
This is the tip of the iceberg as I have the appropriate pistols that went with them and all are in NRA excellent conditon..ie: an unissued Inland M1A1icon, first 6 month production rifle or my unissued GEW98.
I'm a recently retired federal LEO and among other things was an armorer and firearms instructor with the bureau.
I could go on and on, but I'll cut it short by saying Howdy!
